The Enanthate ester causes a slow release of testosterone, allowing for less frequent injections compared to the faster-acting Propionate. Athletes using Testosterone Enanthate typically find that injecting twice a week, such as on Monday and Thursday, effectively maintains stable hormone levels in the blood. Testosterone Enanthate aromatizes easily, which can lead to estrogen buildup and related side effects, especially in sensitive users or those on high doses. To minimize estrogenic effects, bodybuilders often include anti-estrogens like Anastrozole, Proviron, or Tamoxifen in their regimen. For highly sensitive individuals or those taking very high doses (800–1200 mg), stronger options such as Letrozole or Exemestane may be necessary. Androgenic side effects, such as oily skin, can also occur during Testosterone Enanthate use. Nandrolone Decanoate’s ester creates a very slow release from the injection site, making twice-weekly injections sufficient to maintain steady blood levels. However, due to its long detection time in the system, Nandrolone Decanoate is generally not recommended for athletes subject to drug testing.
